Israel rejects Hamas wishes for ceasefire, but is ready for indirect negotiations

Jerusalem – Israel rejects the changes to the new proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza strip required by Islamist Hamas, but is ready for indirect negotiations. The changes that Hamas want to make to Katar’s proposal were “unacceptable” for Israel, said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu, however, accepted the invitation to “approach talks”.
