One of the main names of NO, the mayor of Maricá (RJ), Washington Quaquá, argues that the new president of the party diversifies the speech to also reach small entrepreneurs, rather than focusing only on social protection and progressive guidelines.
“The time has come to reduce the emphasis on the direct transfer of income and expand investments in human capital and encouragement to entrepreneurship,” said the mayor, during participation in Brazil Investment Summit, in Lisbon.

The mayor ponders that the party needs to “turn the key” and change the focus of his speech to lose essence.
“The PT cannot be the staging hair PT,” he said, in reference to the focus of some subtitles to attract the financial market. “The policy was made to put food on the people’s table, employment in the people’s wallet, give money to those who undertake, sell the beer can on the beach, the water in the signal or pizza in the community as their business.”
