Boulogne-sur-Mer-Mathieu van der Poel drove into the yellow jersey of the Tour de France on Sunday on the classic terrain he loved. The ex-world champion prevailed in the target sprint of the second and longest stage of the 112nd edition of the France tour against tour defenders Tadej Pogacar. Austria’s classification driver Felix Gall also finished after 209.1 km from Lauwin-Planque to Boulogne-sur-Mer with the 26-member top group and all favorites.
