The Acre Legislative Assembly (Aleac) held on Monday (7) a public hearing to discuss the state budget guidelines for the financial year 2026.
The initiative comes from the deputy and chairman of the Aleac Budget and Finance Commission (COF), Tadeu Hassem.
In addition to members of the Government, the State Court of Auditors (TCE) and the Acre Public Prosecution Service (MPAC), representatives of unions linked to health, safety and education – as well as other segments – also participated in the event.
The Secretary of Government (Segov), Luiz Calixto, opened the discussions and said that the executive is unable to meet the categories that ask for salary recomposition and reformulation of career plans.

“We must admit that we manage an extremely scarce budget of a state that does not yet produce the revenues necessary to handle all the demands of society. We are aware that we are debtors, that we are short of expectations of what the Acre population needs. We will not go here, by any way, to raise expectations.
“We have demands of all orders, all servers, but we have to have the honesty and transparency necessary to say that our state does not have the sufficient possibilities to meet the needs we also have,” he said.
