The president rejected any “interference or guardianship” about his country on Monday (7), after his American counterpart, asked Brazil to “leave” the former president, who faces trial for alleged scam. “We are a sovereign country. We do not accept interference or guardianship of anyone,” Lula said in an official note while presiding over the BRICS summit in Rio de Janeiro.
