China’s main newspapers were little prominent to the BRICS Summit discussions in Rio. On the morning of Monday (7.Jul.2025), Sunday night (6.Jul) in Brazil, only the state -owned company CGTN –Focated in international news – had a report of 2 paragraphs about the event in a most prominent place on your site.

Other newspapers registered news from the president led by the president (PT) in smaller spaces on the websites. Also state -owned was the one who made a more complete report, with emphasis on “Global South Union”.

China’s president, Xi Jinping (PCP) did not go to the event in Rio. Who leads the Chinese delegation is the Prime Minister, I read Qiang.

Some Chinese newspapers highlighted the statement of Xi to a delegation of young Pickleball players – a similar sport of the United States who are visiting China than to BRICS.
