On July 4, 2025, a series of unusual transactions caused a sensation in the crypto world: eight Bitcoin wallets that had stayed untouched for over 14 years, moved 80,000 Bitcoin together-an amount with the equivalent of around eight billion US dollars. The blockchain analysis service Arkham Intelligence made the case public and wrote on the platform X that the largest known transfer of so-called “Satoshi-era wallet” was documented.
