After a series of attacks on social networks, including a wave of death threats, federal deputy Erika Hilton (PSOL-SP) will meet in the coming days with Federal Police Director-General Andrei Rodrigues. Digital security experts have detected the leak of sensitive personal information from the deputy, obtained from a possible invasion of the IRS systems.

According to Erika’s staff, the data circulated in online forums known for “sheltering criminal activities, such as nazism apology and the distribution of child pornography.” The deputy, who has already registered the threats and leaks and referred them to the Federal Police, should meet with the direction of the body and the Ministry of Justice in the coming days.

In the letter sent to the PF director, Erika requests the opening of an inquiry, protection measures and a direct dialogue channel with the authorities, as the attacks are not just personal offenses. “This is an attack on physical, psychic and moral integrity, as well as an attempt to prevent the free exercise of parliamentary activity,” says the document that Estadão had access.
