Vienna – There are over 100,000 young people in Austria who have completed the compulsory school and no longer attend training. Among the 15- to 24-year-olds with a migration background, the proportion of early training dropouts (FABA) is 27 percent three and a half times as large as among young people who have no roots abroad. However, the gap is significantly larger in the country than in the city, shows a study by the Institute for Higher Studies (IHS).
