Since June 12, more than 10 buses from the Municipal Transport System have been vandalized per day in the city of São Paulo. The data were sent to CNN by SMT (Municipal Secretariat of Mobility and Urban Transport), on Sunday afternoon (6).
According to the data, the number of cases of vandalism against collectives in the capital reached 264, resulting in 11 buses attacked in the last 24 days. Records include three occurrences of attacks between afternoon and Saturday night (5).

“The Municipal Secretariat of Mobility and Urban Transportation (SMT) and SPTrans reiterate the repudiation of the acts of vandalism registered in the transportation system and continues to provide all the necessary information to assist in the investigations.
SPTrans reinforces the guidance for concessionaires to immediately communicate all cases to the Operations Center and formalize occurrences with the police authorities.

Operation Impact to Collectives
According to the PMSP (Military Police of the State of São Paulo), until Thursday (3) ,. Police action is focused on facing crimes against buses and public transport in the capital.
