US President said Musk had left ‘rails’ and became a disaster in the last five weeks; He stated that the creation of a third party would cause ‘total disruption and chaos’
The president of the United States, criticized on Sunday (6) the launch by the entrepreneur of a political party in challenge to the “single party system” of the country. Musk, a former ally who became a critic of Trump, announced on Saturday (5) the foundation of the America.
“I find it ridiculous to create a third party,” said the Republican before boarding the presidential plane towards Washington. “It has always been a bipartisan system, I think creating a third party only contributes to the confusion. Third parties never worked. We can have fun with it, but I think it’s ridiculous.” Later, on the Truth Social platform, Trump said Musk had come out of the tracks and became a “disaster” in the last five weeks. He stated that the creation of a third party would cause “total disruption and chaos.”
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent suggested earlier that Musk companies would invest in their owner to focus on business rather than politics. “I think the advice of their companies would like him to go back to them, as this is better than anyone,” Bessent told CNN TV, when asked if Musk’s announcement worried the government.
Bessent stressed that “the principles” of the so -called Government Efficiency Department (Doge), which Musk made as part of Trump’s efforts to cut public spending, are “very popular,” but “if you look at research, Elon was not.” Musk left Doge in May to dedicate himself entirely to his companies, as the sales and image of the Tesla electric vehicle manufacturer were affected by the incursion of entrepreneurs in Trump’s intimate circle.
