The councilors of Rio Branco approved, during this Tuesday (8), a bill that prohibits the realization of public tenders intended exclusively for the formation of reserve register in the municipality. The proposal now awaits the decision of Mayor Tião Bocalom (PL), who can sanction or veto the measure.

Authored by Councilman Neném Almeida (MDB), the project seeks to avoid the political use of public tenders, especially in election years, when events can be promoted without the real intention of convening approved.
According to the parliamentarian, the measure aims to give more transparency and responsibility to the selection process of the municipal public service.
The bill was unanimously approved by the parliamentarians of the house, with support, including the city base in the House. If nozzle decides to veto the project, the camera may still vote to maintain or overthrow the veto.
