Also in a statement, the PSB leader in the House of Representatives, Pedro Campos, said he hoped all the facts will be clarified as soon as possible and that due process of law will be respected, guaranteeing the investigated the right to broad defense. According to the PF, members of the alleged criminal organization defrauded bidding processes and contracts signed by municipalities of Ceará municipalities in order to divert and appropriate public money.

In addition to Junior Mano, five more investigated are the target of the police action, authorized by the Supreme Court Minister (STF) Gilmar Mendes. Fifteen search and seizure warrants were fulfilled in Brasilia and in the municipalities of Ceará of Fortaleza, Baixio, Canindé, Eusébio and Nova Russas.
