Lula didn’t ask me to be a candidate in 2026, says Haddad

Finance Minister declares to be intended to follow in office until the end of the government, but makes room to assume a function in the president’s reelection campaign

The Minister of Finance, said on Tuesday (8.Jul.2025) that the President (PT) did not ask him to be a candidate in 2026.

“I don’t believe the president will ask me that”declared in an interview with the site Metropolis.
