An important name from the Palmeiras cast may be leaving the current transfer window. According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the São Paulo club defined the value of 30 million euros (approximately 191.9 million reais) to negotiate midfielder Richard Ríos.
The journalist also reported that and Rome, both from Italy, contacted Verdon and declared interest in having the 25 -year -old Colombian for next season. The midfielder caught the attention of European football after great performances until the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup, where he was eliminated by Chelsea, England.

Richard Ríos arrived at Palmeiras in March 2023, hired from Guarani-SP for 1.38 million euros (R $ 7.7 million at the time). So far, he has played in 137 matches, scored 11 goals and distributed nine assists, as well as being champion of the Brasileirão and the Paulista Championship (2023 and 2024, respectively). Earlier, the Colombian went through the Flamengo base categories and the Mazatlán professional from Mexico.
After elimination at the World Cup, Palmeiras returns their attention to the Brazilian Championship. The team would return to the lawns next Sunday (13), but had their departure against Santos postponed. Now, the team of the state capital will only enter the field on July 16, at 19h (Brasília), to face Mirassol.
