Sicredi records historical expansion and promotes a campaign that reinforces presence in the northern region

After tripling its presence in northern Brazil, Sicredi intensifies the expansion strategy in the region with a new advertising campaign. With the motto “This is our North”The project includes a film for TV and content for social networks that highlight the principles of credit cooperativism and values ​​the cultural particularities of each state, reinforcing the commitment to local social and economic development. To get an idea, the number of cities in the region* where Sicredi is present grew by 205%, from 38 in 2020 to 116 in 2024.

More than offering financial solutions, Sicredi points out that its goal is to support those who seek to better manage financial life, make dreams, invest, start or expand the business either in the city or in the countryside. In the Northern Region, face -to -face and humanized care has been essential to expand adherence to cooperativism, which reaches half a million members, including individuals, companies and farmers. In addition to eye care, Sicredi also provides service channels (application and WhatsApp 51 3358-4770) that offer more convenience to members, being recognized and awarded for their efficiency and excellence.

With the campaign, Sicredi wants to expand its reach with associates and potential new members, highlighting a robust portfolio of financial solutions such as credit for different purposes, insurance, consortiums, investments and specialized consultancies. The campaign aims to increase the spontaneous recognition of the brand, which records advancement in the region, while seeking to strengthen proximity to members.

The media plan contemplates the film on television on social networks (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, among others), radio spots and offline channel parts such as billboard, ports and airports of northern capitals and actions with local digital influencers. Watch the movie in

Regional appreciation

Carefully thought, respecting the particularities of each northern state, the campaign highlights the cultural traits and everyday situations. “We want to show that we are all over Brazil, and very strong in the North, with complete solutions and humanized care, which respects the local identity and which aims at the social and economic development of each person and their community,” says the Sicredi communication and marketing manager, Luciana Lima.

She adds that, more than financial solutions, the performance of Sicredi’s cooperatives brings real return to society. “Cooperatives aim to improve people’s lives, generate prosperity and economic and social development. Research shows that the presence of cooperatives in municipalities contributes to growth in per capita GDP, increases job generation, fosters entrepreneurship, among other benefits, precisely because of their genuine interest in improving the lives of associates and the community, unlike banks,” Luciana argues.

While traditional financial institutions focus on the capitals, Sicredi follows its purpose of developing communities, with special attention to small municipalities, in a movement of internalization that promotes financial inclusion, democratizes access to credit and other products for the population that lives in locations ignored by the traditional banking system, which fail to open spaces or even close the doors in cities that do not give the expected profits.

In detailing the presence of the cooperative per unit of the Federation in the Northern Region, Pará is the state with the largest number of agencies: there are 99 physical care points, spread across 76 cities. Rondônia has 22 agencies in 20 municipalities. In other states, Sicredi has arrived more recently and expansion plans also prevail. Acre has 11 agencies in 8 municipalities; Amazonas have 9 agencies in 7 cities; Amapá has 5 agencies in 4 cities; And Roraima has 4 agencies, all located in Boa Vista.

The campaign

It was a few months of work, between conception, planning and execution of the campaign until the materials were aired. The film was recorded in the northern region, at historical sights, providing more proximity and identity with the public.
