The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) deals with two complaints concerning the conditions of custody, poor treatment during it and the circumstances of the death of former police President Milan Lučanský. Complaints was filed by his son and deputy of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Adam Lučanský. This stems from the opinion sent by TASR.
The ECtHR was to inform the Government of the Slovak Republic on 25 June. “After I have repeatedly pointed out a violation of rights in connection with the conditions of my father’s custody, including the injuries he has suffered in it and his subsequent deathI perceive the notification of my complaints to the government as a significant step in an international review of how the Slovak Republic has fulfilled its obligations in the field of human rights protection, ”said Adam Lučanský.
