An 18-year-old man was killed and a 17-year-old was injured during a shot attack recorded on Monday night (7) on 16 de Outubro Street, in the Quinze neighborhood, the region of the second district of Rio Branco.
The victims, Geovando Ponciano da Silva Furtado, 18, and the minor identified by the initials JVSB, 17, were in front of a residence, in a road alley, accompanied by friends while having dinner. At about 8 pm, armed criminals arrived at a Gol model vehicle. Two of the occupants got out of the car, entered the alley and fired several shots at the group.

Geovando was hit by several shots in the chest and abdomen and died at the scene. The teenager was shot with at least five shots: two in the abdomen, one on the eyebrow, one on the back and one on the right arm. After the attack, the criminals fled in the ignored direction.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was triggered and the advanced support ambulance was sent. However, when the paramedics arrived at the scene they could do nothing for geovando that was already dead. The teenager received first aid, was stabilized and sent to the Rio Branco Emergency Room, in a state of severe health.

The Military Police, through a 2nd Battalion garrison, were called, isolated the area for the work of the expert and started searching in the region, but no suspects have been found so far.
The case will be investigated initially by the Civil Police Recent Team (EPE) and will later be under the responsibility of the Homicide and Protection of Persons (DHPP). The motivation of the crime and the identity of the authors are still unknown.
