PSP will conduct a security operation at the Nos Alive festival in Algés, between Thursday and the Saturday night to Sunday. In a statement, the Lisbon Metropolitan Command reports that the operation will start This Thursday and will take place until Saturday night to Sunday.
“Given the size of the event and because about 60,000 people are expected per day, the festival will feature a PSP security device, centered on prevention and proactivity, using several valences, namely police from the integrated proximity policing model, traffic teams, criminal prevention brigades and rapid intervention teams,” is referred to in the note.

Traffic will be conditioned
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the road circulation in Avenida Brasiliana Avenida Marginal between Algés and Alto da Boa Viagemno Local Viaduct Cril/IC17 by D. Manuel I Square will be conditioned from 15:00.

“As an alternative, the circulation by A5, N117/Belém and N6-3 Alto da Boa Viagem, as well as the use of public transport, should be privileged,” the security force recommends.
PSP’s recommendations for festivals
The PSP advises the participants of the festival to move to the event in advance, “Given the high influx of people and security procedures for access to the venue”as well as to privilege the use of public transport.
If they use own vehicle and park on the public roadthey should verify that the vehicle was closed, without values in sight and to allow the road circulation.
Festival starts this Thursday and extends until Saturday
To the 17th edition, the seven stages of Nos Alive will welcome 122 performances of 112 artists and bands31 of which Portuguese.
The poster includes names like Olivia Rodrigo, Benson Boone, Noah Kahan e Mark Ambor, Muse, Foster The People, Glass Animals, Future Islands, The Teskey Brothers, Capicua, Iolanda e Mol onion.
