Party leaders’ offices are among the object of the searches
The president of the National Union announced on the morning of Wednesday that the headquarters of the French party is being searched by the authorities.
According to Jordan Bardella, who confirmed the case through the social network X, the offices of Marine Le Pen’s party leaders are also being searched.
“Since 08:50, the headquarters of the National Union – including the offices of its leaders – is being subject to searches conducted by about 20 financial brigade police,” the politician wrote.
Since 8:50 am this morning, the headquarters of the national rally – including the offices of its leaders – have been the subject of a search led by around twenty police officers from the financial brigade, armed and in bulletproof vests, accompanied by two investigating judges.

The same publication states that all emails, documents and registration data from the party are being seized, and Jordan Bardella guarantees not knowing what is exactly at stake.
“We only know that documents concerning the last regional, presidential, legislative and European elections – in other words, the entire party’s electoral activity – are in the hands of justice,” he added.
Jordan Bardella even speaks of a “spectacular and unprecedented operation” that is part of a “new harassment campaign” to the far-right party. “It is a serious attack on pluralism and democratic alternation. Never an opposition party has faced so much persecution in the fifth republic,” he said.
