The Brazilian coach was sentenced to a year in prison and a fine of € 386,000 (about $ 2.5 million) for not having paid taxes on image rights revenues during his first ticket to Real Madrid command. According to the statement, the decision refers to 2014.
Because it is less than two years and related to a non -violent crime, the judgment should not oblige Ancelotti to serve the sentence within the prison.

Compared to 2014, the technician had deposited € 1.2 million (R $ 7.7 million in the current quotation, referring to the income rights income who was invited to that year) while waiting for the definitive sentence. Since he was ordered to pay € 386 thousand (R $ 2.5 million), he will also be compensated for the difference of almost € 800 thousand (R $ 5.1 million).

In the process, the Public Prosecution Service of Spain asked for four years and nine months in prison and a fine of € 3.2 million (R $ 20.5 million) on the charges that the coach would have framed more than € 1 million (R $ 6.4 million) in imaging rights in 2014 and 2015, during his first spell at the Spanish club.
According to the Spanish tax administration, Ancelotti declared his revenues as Real Madrid technician in both years, but not from image rights and other sources, such as some real estate properties.
In an April hearing, the Italian defended himself on the grounds that he was unaware of being doing something wrong or that the company created to tax image rights allowed him to pay less taxes.
