Flood in Texas should have more dead than in RS in 2024

The floods that hit Texas in the United States since the July 4 holiday have left at least 111 dead and can exceed the total victims of the tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul in 2024, which ended with. In Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul lived in May 2024 the largest flood in its history, with damage to almost all municipalities. The rains left 184 dead and thousands of dislocated people. There was national mobilization to send donations and volunteers to the affected regions, especially in the Metropolitan Region and the Taquari Valley.
