Intense rainfall caused sudden floods in New Mexico, United States, causing the deaths of at least three people, including two children, and leaving dozens of residents arrested in their homes and vehicles in the Tourist Village of Ruidos.
Local authorities reported that rescue operations remain in progress to locate possible survivors.
The level of the Ruridos River reached a historical record of 6.2 meters during the flood, which occurred in a matter of minutes, according to images released by the geological service of the United States.
