After the success of “Guilty”which yielded two adaptations in streaming, another work by Argentina author Mercedes Ron will become a movie: The Duology “Facing”.
The saga is composed of “Ivory” e “Ebanos”. The streaming service announced that the recordings of the two titles have been closed, but the debut date has not yet been revealed.
The plot accompanies the young Marfil, who has a turnaround life after being kidnapped. Upon being released, she walks with a bodyguard: Sebastian. He is responsible for protecting her from worldly dangers, but Sebastian’s biggest challenge will be to keep her away from himself.
The films will be starring Hugo Diego (“The substance”) and Exposit (“”). Names like Eric Masip (“Through my window”), Pablo Molinero (“Our Summer”) and Zoe Bonafonte (“The Lady of Company”) also make up the cast.
The books of the “faced” duology are not available in Brazil, but Mercedes Ron’s “Guilty” saga, arrived at Brazilian bookstores in 2024. In the country, the published by Universe of Books.
