Each meeting with him fills me with energy to work for the prosperity of our peoples,” he added.
Global view and combat to terrorism
In his speech, the Prime Minister highlighted the role that Brazil and India can play in the international scenario and reinforced a commitment to dialogue and diplomacy in times of instability. “Our cooperation is relevant not only to the global south, but for all humanity. When the world goes through a phase of conflict, this partnership is a pillar of stability and balance,” he said.
Modi also made a point of positioning himself firmly against extremism: “We firmly believe that there is no room for two weights and two measures to combat terrorism. We are against terrorism and against those who support it.” The meeting reinforces the political and economic alignment between Brazil and India, countries with great relevance in international forums, and signals a new stage of strategic cooperation in key themes for sustainable development and global security.
