Main Selection Season competition, the 2025 Nations League takes place from June 4 to August 3. The seventh edition of the tournament has five headquarters: Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Istanbul (Türkiye), Chiba (Japan) and Lódz (Poland). This year, 18 countries participate in the dispute of each genre (in 2014 were 16).
In men, Brazil won in 2021. In the female, the Brazilian team was runner-up three times: 2019, 2021 and 2022.
Format of the Volleyball League (VNL)
The competition is divided into the first phase (rotary groups) and final phase (knockout).
The first phase is divided into three weeks, each in a different headquarters, with different groups and four matches played by selection. At the end of the first phase, each team will have played 12 games. The first eight of the rating at run points advance to the quarterfinals.
