ALLLEKLE ROLLS These are wrapped buns with apples, which resemble a somewhat popular cinnamon. You will make the dough from wheat flour, milk, fresh yeast, sugar, eggs and butter. The filling is apples with a clear hint of cinnamon. Buns not only come out soft and delicious, but also look beautiful on the table. This is a great idea for a family coffee or tea afternoon tea. If you do them once, you will certainly often repeat this recipe.

Before you get on baking, prepare the right form, it works well 24 x 36 cm sheet metal.

To prepare this recipe, you will need:

  • 20 g of fresh yeast,
  • 250 ml of milk,
  • 100 g cukru,
  • 500 g of wheat flour,
  • 1 egg,
  • 130 g of liquid butter,
  • a pinch of salt,
  • 3-4 apples,
  • 100 g of brown sugar,
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon,
  • 1 lemon juice,
  • 100 g of powdered sugar,
  • 1-2 tablespoons of water.

Heat the milk to about 37 ° C. Mix crushed yeast with 2 tablespoons of sugar, and when they start to “work”, pour half the milk and set aside in a warm place for 15 minutes (under cover of the cloth).

Sift flour through the strainer and place in a mixer bowl. Add the rest of the sugar and milk, egg, a pinch of salt and a grown leaven. Make ingredients with a hook for a smooth, flexible dough. When mixing, add 80 g of liquid, cooled butter.

Set aside the dough in a warm place (under cover) for about 1-1.5 hours – until at least it doubles its volume.

In the meantime, wash the apples and vegetable peeler “cut” the pulp so that long, quite thin slices are formed. Sprinkle them with lemon juice (pour 1 tablespoon to prepare icing), sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

Roll out the grown dough on a flour -covered board. Form a rectangular cake from it. Brush it evenly with the rest of the butter, and then cover it entirely with apple strips and roll it into a tight roll.

Cut the roll into pieces (about 3-4 cm wide). Place them vertically in baking paper for dough. Rolls should fill the entire form (e.g. 24×36 cm), lying quite close together. You do not have to keep large intervals, because during baking they are to stick together so that they can be detached from each other. Set aside Rolls for a quarter of an hour in a warm place.

Heat the oven to 180 ° C. Insert the form with the rolls to the middle level of the oven and bake for about 30 minutes – until golden brown.

Combine powdered sugar and lemon juice in a bowl. Mix, gradually adding water – until semi -liquid icing. Brush the cooled rolls with icing.
