Marinho says that the taxation imposed by Trump on Brazil is “bad for the country, our economy and the world.”
Moreover, he argues that multilateral cooperation is the best way, “without unilateral impositions or disrespect for the sovereignty of nations.”
The minister points out that the surcharge “becomes even more serious when it is evident that the measures were announced to meet the political interests of a family that responds to proceedings for attempted coup against the democratic rule of law.”
“This Bolsonaro family strategy of trying to put Brazil on their knees, harming economic sectors and compromise jobs will be a big shot in the scammers’ foot,” he says.
