Yara Melo Delfino, 12, disappeared after leaving home in Santos, on the coast of São Paulo. She disappeared around 6:30 pm last Sunday (6), in the Marapé neighborhood.
The girl’s mother would have tried contact with her daughter’s known people through social networks, but got no information about her whereabouts.
The Civil Police of the State of São Paulo reported that the case was registered as a disappearance of person in the 2nd DP of Santos and is investigated through police inquiry established by the 3rd Deic of the city.
The São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP) said the steps are underway for the victim’s location and clarification of the facts. According to police, the other details will be preserved to ensure the autonomy of police work.
