The Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic prepared another approximately 240 applications for training for national defense forces (NOS). Thus, the number of registered personnel has exceeded the current status of the staff in active backups. The Ministry also responded to approximately 3000 requests for detailed information. At a press conference in the military training area, Turkish hill at the beginning of the first training tour was informed on Thursday by Minister of Defense Robert Kaliňák (Smer-SD).
“I believe that after training I will be able to share with you experience, how it all goes, what it will give us, what we are able to give Slovakia, but above all how to move on. I believe that this will progress and at the end of the day there will be a very strong infrastructure of people, but also techniques that will be able to help citizens of the Slovak Republic, ”said Kaliňák at the beginning of the training in which he will participate.
President Peter Pellegrini also participates in the current tour in the current tour. In his words, it will not have any extraordinary conditions or special treatment. It is ready to stay in the training center for 14 days. As he pointed out, the presidential duties are able to perform from there.

In the event of some extraordinary event, so that I can go to do an act if necessary. We even planned that we will probably have to interrupt it for the half -day for the planned visit of the Indonesian President, but he will not come, ”said the President.
Kaliňák added that Nine women are registered among the practitioners in the current tour. Approximately half of the exercisers were in the arrival of the Defense. Daniel Zmeko, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, said that thanks to his investment in the facility, the training ground infrastructure is ready for training.
He pointed out that the nose is solving a long -term problem with army backups. “We will have to revise our plans and start practicing intensively a little earlier and at a greater frequency this year to fulfill the interest of citizens,” He pointed out Zmeko.
The legislative process has undergone a new Act on some measures to increase the resistance of the Slovak Republic in the field of defense and security and conservation duty. It changes the functioning of the active backups and establishes the nose. In addition, the law will also enable the establishment of the Gandar Corps and will also award other powers to the Ministry.
The nose is divided into three types of advance. Operational advances are designed especially for people with army experience, such as former soldiers or people who have already gone through some type of training or have undergone basic military service and know what they would do in the army.
Army newcomers without experience could apply for emergency reserves. Within the structure of the nose, there are also military advances in which candidates can obtain training without obligation to bind backups. People will also receive a contribution and salary of a soldier in a given rank for training and other obligations. The ministry also promised other benefits.
