The President of the United States, said again on Thursday (11) that the Federal Reserve (Fed) should “rapidly reduce” interest on the strength of the American economy. The statement was made in a publication on the social Truth. “The Fed should quickly reduce interest rates to reflect this economic strength,” Trump wrote after celebrating the records recorded by financial assets. “Tocs actions, industrial actions, Nasdaq, broke historical records! Cryptocurrencies have triggered,” he said. In the same post, Trump said again that the US is “without inflation !!!”.
In another publication, made minutes later, Trump criticized, again the president of the Fed, without citing him nominally. “The ‘too late’ belittles the great US credit. We are now, again, the number one credit in the world! The Fed rate should reflect this. Reduce the rate !!!”, he wrote.
The Republican also associated the good performance of the Nvidia chips manufacturer with the imposition of tariffs by his government. “Nvidia rose 47% since Trump’s tariffs,” he wrote. “US is receiving hundreds of billions of dollars in tariffs. Our country is ‘back’,” he said.
