The federal deputy currently licensed and living in the United States, Eduardo Bolsonaro, said in a statement that the responsibility of the 50% rate on Brazilian products announced by Donald Trump is Minister Alexandre de Moraes, the Supreme Court (STF), and the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
According to former President Jair Bolsonaro’s son, Brazil would have moved away from “the values of the free world” and, consequently, would disrespect freedom of expression, due process of law and democracy. “One hour, the account arrives,” says Eduardo, calling the established fare about Brazilian “tariff” products.
The deputy also claims to maintain dialogue with representatives of Trump’s government in the US for complaints of what he considers to be “an authoritarian climb” in the country.
