Variety predicts that “rupture” and “The Studio” will lead nominations to Emmy

The American magazine Variety shared its final forecasts of the works that will be nominated for Emmy. Among its bets, the vehicle indicated that the series “Rupture” e “The Studio”, both from Apple TV+, will lead with 19 nominations each. The 2025 edition of the Award will reveal its nominees next week on July 15.

In a text published on Thursday (10), the portal also mentioned that if “the studio” also receive some nominations from artists, the production can become the most suitable debut comedy of all time – Overcoming “Ted Lasso”, another Apple series that broke the record with 20 nominations in 2021.

Also according to Variety, Netflix can attract more than 120 nominations, distributed in more than three dozen programs. Regarding the other streamings, the magazine also highlighted productions as “Pinguim”, “The Pitt” e “The White Lotus”, da HBO Max e “O Urso” e “Only Murders in the Building”and disney +.

Throughout the text, Variety also bet that, in the category of best supporting actor for “drug thieves”. According to the list, they would compete with the star Owen Cooper (“teenager”), Javier Bardem (“Monsters: Menendez Brothers: Parents Assassins”), Ashley Walters (“teenager”), Rob Delaney (“Dying for Sex) and Rhenzy Feliz (” Penguin “).

Next Tuesday (15), the nominees to the Emmy Awards, considered the most prestigious award on American television, will be revealed, which in turn, has its 77th edition scheduled for September 14.
