The state of Acre has been registering an increase in burning this July. Only in the first nine days of the month, the number of foci recorded was 32, while throughout June the total annotated was 21. The data is from Portal BDqueMadas.

However, compared to the same period of the previous year the value represents a drop of almost 50%, leaving 61 cases to 32 of 2025.
This month, the distribution of the outbreaks was as follows: Brasiléia with 7; Cruzeiro do Sul, Rio Branco and Rodrigues Alves with 5 each; Acolândia, Epitaciolândia and Xapuri with 2 each; Manoel Urbano, Porto Walter, Sena Madureira and Tarauacá with only one focus.
Compared to 2024, the four municipalities with the most focused were Cruzeiro do Sul, Feijó and Sena Madureira, with 14 foci, followed by Manoel Urbano with 4.
