Moscow (Reuters)-Russia is waiting for the “important statement” that US President Donald Trump announced that he will do next Monday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
Trump told NBC News on Thursday he will make an “important statement” about Russia on Monday, without detailing. In recent days, Trump has expressed his frustration with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
When asked about the new Western Military Alliance Deliveries Organization of the North Atlantic Treaty (NATO) to Ukraine, Peskov called it “just business” as Kiev was already receiving weapons before this unfolding.

Positive trend in relations between Russia and US continues, says Moscow
The positive tendency in relations between Russia and the United States continues and has not disappeared, although the US government is acting in Zigzag, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told the news agency in comments published on Friday.
“No, I do not agree that the positive tendency in relations between Moscow and Washington is disappearing,” Ryabkov said, according to Ria.
“I think the current US government acts on a zigzag about this and many other questions. I wouldn’t say they are firmly following a course defined once and for all. We are not dramatizing about it.”
