Eduardo Cordova did not reach the current level overnight. Long before founding the Market4ufocused on autonomous markets for residential and commercial condominiums, with 24 hours and seven days a week, he had some failure in his entrepreneurial career, which began there in 2007, when he was close to 18 years old. In 2016, for example, Cordova says he had about 10 different businesses at the same time. It was at this moment that he realized the need to study more about people management. “I needed to set up capable teams, with skills that I didn’t have,” explained the CEO. Over the years, it accumulates more than 30 open CNPJs.

The first store was inaugurated on the 12th of that month. About a month later came the covid-19 pandemic: in March, WHO officially decreed the state of pandemic;
In April, came the first periods of quarantine and closing of trade in Brazil.

This period, challenging, turned out to be the opportunity for the Market4U operation. According to the founder of the business, people understood the importance of the enterprise. “The business needs to solve a pain. And ours was an important solution for the community to be able to have a purchase with social distance, more safely. And we were prepared to grow in the format we bet.”

Aiming at a rapid scalability regarding capillarization, Market4U bet on franchise format – when people interested in business buy store units and end up funding the facilities.
