The federal deputy Rogério Correa (PT-MG) referred to STF (Federal Supreme Court) this Thursday (10) a request for pre-trial detention against Jair Bolsonaro (PL), as a way to avoid escape from the former president.
The document was added to an inquiry in which the authors claim the possibility of escape from the former president. Minister Alexandre de Moraes is a rapporteur of the case.
In the document, the parliamentarian lists that the licensed deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) He went to the United States to “dedicate full time to convince the Donald Trump government to act by amnesty to those involved in the attacks of January 8 in Brazil and to obtain sanctions” against Moraes.
“Now, the recent statements of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, create an international narrative to justify a possible request for political asylum by Jair Bolsonaro,” he says. According to the parliamentarian, it is necessary to take preventive measures to ensure order.
