“Lula put his ideology above the economy, and this is the result,” said the governor of São Paulo
The governor of Sao Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), met on Thursday, 10, with former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) for a lunch at a restaurant in Brasilia. The Republican published a video alongside the renovated captain on the social network. “Always good to be by his side, president,” he said.
The meeting took place after Tarcísio blame President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) for the 50% tariff over the Brazilian products promised by US President Donald Trump.
The chief executive of São Paulo and the former president made photos and videos with supporters in the restaurant.

“Lula put his ideology above the economy, and this is the result. They had time to honor dictatorships, defend censorship and assault the largest direct investor in Brazil. Other countries sought negotiation,” Tarcisio said on Wednesday night, 9.
“It is no use hiding behind Bolsonaro. The responsibility is to those who govern. Narratives will not solve the problem,” he added.
This Thursday, in the morning agenda, after receiving criticism, Tarcisio considered that Brazil needs to “set aside ideological issues, revanchism and narratives” to negotiate with the United States.
