At the same time, the visit strengthens speculation about the new Strategy of Trump’s administration towards Ukraine.

A special US President Donald Trump president for Ukraine Keith Kellogg will start visiting Ukraine next Monday, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

As AFP added, Kellogg in the corridors of the conference on the restoration of Ukraine in Rome before Ukrainian journalists informed that his visit could take about a week.

Planned visit to Kiev

The Ukrainian newspaper Novyny.Live published a video of a short interview with Kellogg, in which he told the reporter in Rome that he would come to Kiev on Monday, July 14. “We’ll be there all week,” he added.

No more official announcement has been issued on his visit, the British BBC said.

Trump’s military assistance to Ukraine

Kellogg visited Kiev in February, a month after the inauguration of US President Donald Trump.

The announcement of his upcoming visit comes at the time of speculation that Trump plans to use the presidential jurisdiction to approve a new military aid package for Ukraine. This would be the first such step from his accession to the office in January 2025. So far, the Trump administration has only allowed only supplies of weapons approved by former President Joe Biden.

Suspension of weapons supply

A week ago, there was a message that the Pentagon suspended some supplies of weapons to Ukraine, including the missiles of the Patriot Air defense and high -level ammunition, until the US Army explored. This happened at a time when Russia intensified air attacks on Ukraine. On the ninth of July, it released a record 741 drones and missiles.

Trump responded to the media reports by saying that he did not know who initiated the suspension of supplies and ordered at least part of them. At the same time, he undertook to provide Ukraine with other defense weapons.

Meanwhile, Trump announced his “important statement” on Russia on 14 July and presented plans for the supply of weapons to Ukraine funded from the NATO Alliance.
