Drone attacks in Ukraine at night and at dawn on Friday (11) killed two people in Russia and tried to reach targets in Moscow, authorities reported.

Russian air defenses slaughtered 155 Ukrainian drones between 11 pm on Thursday (10) and 7am on Friday, local time, including 11 to the capital Moscow, the Russian Ministry of Defense said in the Telegram messaging app.

Three of the four airports serving the Russian capital, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky, suspended the operations temporarily, but later resumed them, Rosaviatia, Russian aviation agency, said on Thursday night.

A drone fell into the territory of an agricultural company in the Lipetsk region, causing a short fire, killing one person and hurting another, regional governor Igor Artamonov said on Telegram.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said air defense systems destroyed four drones over the Lipetsk region in southwest Russia. The ministry informs only the number of devices destroyed by its units, not how many were launched by Kiev.

Most drones at night were destroyed over the Russian regions bordering Ukraine: Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk, the folder added.

One person died and another was injured in a Ukrainian attack in the Tula region, about 200 km south of Moscow, regional governor Dmitry Milyaev said at Telegram.

The mayor of the Taganrog port city in southwest Russia, Svetlana Kambulova, said in the same messages that drills from the drone fell on the Beriev aircraft factory.

Kambulova did not say if there was damage due to the offensive, but added that there were no injuries.

There were no immediate comments from Ukraine.

Intensification of attacks

Kiev states that his attacks on Russian territory aim to destroy essential infrastructure for Russian war efforts and are a response to Russia’s continuous attacks against Ukraine throughout the war.

Moscow has intensified his attacks against Ukraine in recent weeks, and cities throughout Ukraine and killed dozens of civilians, Ukrainian authorities reported.

Both sides deny the target of civilian civilians that Russia launched against its smaller neighbor in February 2022. Thousands of civilians died in the conflict, the vast majority of them Ukrainians.
