Australian officials reported finding a 26 -year -old German backpacker who was in a remote region in the northwest of the country for almost two weeks.
Carolina Wilgawhich disappeared on June 29 near Beacon, located about 254 km north of the Australian capital, Perth, was found by a driver on a road on Friday (11), police said.
“It’s a great relief for your family and all your loved ones,” said Detective Jessica Securum in a press conference transmitted from Perth. “Finding Carolina healthy and saved is a fantastic result,” he added.
