Councilman Celso Giannazi and state deputies Carlos Giannazi and Federal Luciene Cavalcante, all from PSOL, filed a popular action asking that the court annulling the management announcement (Republicans) to

Tarcísio’s campaign promise, the program will start in 100 schools in the state network in the second half of this year.

The police selection notice provides hiring without public tender, with salary of R $ 6,000 per month monthly each for load of 40 hours per week. This amount will even be added to what the police already receive from retirement.

Parliamentarians state that most public school teachers today —52% of them under temporary contract regime – receive R $ 5,300 for a 40 -hour journey.

In the action, the psoists claim that hiring is illegal, besides being unconstitutional, because there is no budgetary forecast regarding the implementation of civic-military schools this year.

They also claim that hiring and dismissal without public tender and through personal interviews hurts the principle of impersonality.

In schools, police will act as monitors in ethics, citizenship and civic activities. They will also supervise compliance with specific rules for these units, such as the obligation to chant civic hymns and the correct use of uniforms by students.
