Petition mentions a possible ‘institutional articulation to facilitate the evasion’ of Jair Bolsonaro, defendant for attempting a coup; Governor would have suggested that the former president go to the US
The leader of the Workers Party (PT) in the House, deputy, filed a lawsuit in the Federal Supreme Court () against the governor of (Republicans), claiming possible obstruction of justice. The petition mentions a possible “institutional articulation to facilitate the dropout” of the former president (PL), defendant for attempted coup.
According to the complaint, Tarcisio would have suggested that Bolsonaro travel to to negotiate directly with the president a possible reversal of the 50% tariff in import tax to Brazilian products. He mentions that the governor would have linked to STF ministers to intercede in favor of Bolsonaro.
“The gesture is serious: a state executive trying to release the departure of a defendant investigated for attempted coup, so that he meets the leader of international pressure against Brazil,” the petition mentions.
The information that Tarcisio called the STF ministers to propose that the Court authorizes Bolsonaro to travel to the United States and negotiate with Trump was revealed by the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo.
The action was filed on Friday (11). Federal Deputy Guilherme Boulos (PSOL-SP), also this last Friday, filed a representation in the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) against the governor of São Paulo, with the same arguments. Tarcisio denies the accusations.
