UNESCO declares Bavaria’s royal locks to be a world heritage

Schwangau/Paris – UNESCO has declared the famous fairytale locks of Bavaria’s King Ludwig II into world heritage. At its meeting in Paris, the UN Culture Organization World Heritage Commission took the Neuschwanstein Castle, the Schlösser Herrenchiemsee and Linderhof as well as the royal family on the mountain Schachen and the prehistoric stone formations in France.
