The former president () admitted for the first time imposed by, from, to Brazil, but repeated the speech of his children in insisting that the solution to the problem is the amnesty to the scammers of 8 January and the plot of 2022 to prevent the possession of the presidency.
“I am not happy to see personal sanctions, or family members, whoever it is. I do not happy to see our producers from the countryside or the city, as well as the people, to suffer from this 50%rate,” Bolsonaro said on their social networks.
It was the first time Bolsonaro adopted this tone to address the theme.
So far, his children-the licensed federal deputy, (PL-SP), and the senator (PL-RJ)-has been commanding the offensive to try to get the speech that amnesty is the solution to taxation.
The former president repeated the narrative and tried to distance himself from guilt for the tariff by stating that it is the Brazilian authorities who should solve the problem.
“The solution is in the hands of the Brazilian authorities. In having harmony and independence between the powers, the forgiveness between brothers is born and, with the amnesty also peace for the economy,” he added.
So far Bolsonaro allies tried to get it as a possible negotiator to solve the tariff. The governor of, (Republicans), even asked the (Supreme Court) to release the former president to travel to the United States for this purpose.
In the letter justified the taxation of 50% to Brazilian products, Trump did not cite any economic factor, but the STF inquiry about the attempted coup of January 8, in which Bolsonaro is a defendant.
In the publication, the former president admitted that the United States tariff is, in fact, a political measure that “has much more, or almost everything, to do with values and freedom than with economy.”
Both Eduardo Bolsonaro and Flávio Bolsonaro have already stated that the solution to the tariff is a “broad amnesty, general and unrestricted”, using the terminology of forgiveness given to the military in the Brazilian dictatorship.
Eduardo graduated from the position of deputy to travel to the United States precisely for the purpose of trying to make Trump support his father, Bolsonaro.
