Former President Jair Bolsonaro manifested himself through the X (former Twitter) on Sunday (13) about the letter of US President Donald Trump, sent to the Brazilian government, announcing a 50% increase in the import rate of products in Brazil.

Bolsonaro listed 4 points to what he called “what is missing for Brazil to be the promised land of the West.”

According to him, President Trump’s letter “has much more, or almost everything, to do with values and freedom than with economy.”

In the second point, he commented that “I do not rejoice to see personal sanctions, or family, to anyone.” And in this item, he added: “I am not happy to see our producers from the countryside or the city, as well as the people, to suffer from this 50%tariff.”

In the third topic, Bolsonaro stated that everyone knows the way the “head of the largest power in the world negotiates.” “Just his deputy (Jd Vance) said in Europe, that he would no longer put resources from the US taxpayer to defend countries that set aside common values to their peoples,” he added on this item.

Finally, in the fourth and last point, Bolsonaro said that “time is urgent” until August 1. “The solution is in the hands of the Brazilian authorities. In having harmony and independence between the powers, the forgiveness between brothers is born and, with amnesty also peace for the economy,” he concluded.
