Representatives of the 12 schools selected for the first edition of the Financial Education Olympics in Acre participated in the first technical meeting promoted by the Entrepreneurial Citizenship Project team.
During the meeting, the rules of the competition, the pedagogical objectives of the initiative and updated data on the indebtedness of Acre families – central theme of activities were presented.

Participants also received the teaching materials that will be used in preparatory classes and in the preparation of the tests. The Olympics focuses on stimulating critical thinking and conscious use of money among public school students.
The project coordinating team said they will make visits to the 12 schools involved, to provide direct support to teachers and answer questions during the implementation of activities.
