According to Ukrainian President of Volodymyr Greenland, this is an effort to intimidate the civilian population, but the country’s air defense is achieving “good results”.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Greenable on Sunday accused Russia of terrorizing Ukrainian citizens. On the social network X wrote that Moscow sent at least 1,800 drones to Ukraine this week, more than 1,200 sliding bombs and 83 missiles, TASR reports according to DPA.
“The Russians intensify terror against cities and villages to increasingly intimidate our people,” said Greeding. “Despite Moscow’s plans, however, our forces of air defense achieve good results. Particularly well, fighter drones, which have shot down hundreds of Russian-Iranian scarves, have shot down the last week.”
Meetings with partners
In the paper, Zelensky explained that this week he had completed several meetings with his Western partners, with whom he discussed further development of fighter drones. “We are hoping to realize all agreements that will strengthen our defense. We rely on the vigorous decisions of the United States, Europe, the G7 groups and all our partners,” he added.
In recent days, Russia has intensified air strikes across Ukraine. On Wednesday, the biggest attack has taken a nationwide invasion from the beginning and released more than 700 unmanned aircraft in Ukraine.
