Thirty -one people were shot before help distribution points; 28 in bombing
At least 59 Palestinians died in the Gaza Strip on Saturday (13.Jul.2025). Shots at humanitarian aid distribution points near Rafah killed 31 people. Israeli bombings in different regions of the territory victimized another 28, including 4 children, according to Palestinian hospital authorities.
The International Red Cross Committee Campaign Hospital (CIAB) has received the largest number of dead in its more than 12 months of operation. More than 100 people were injured during the shootings, mostly with firearm injuries.
“All injuries reported that they were trying to access food distribution points”informed the Red Cross. The organization highlighted the “Alarming frequency and scale” of these events with multiple victims.
The 31 Palestinians shot were heading to a distribution point of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), an American organization with Israeli support. The Israeli forces said they had made warning shots at people considered suspicious, but denied knowledge of victims. GHF said there were no incidents near its distribution points.
Israeli bombings have reached various locations. In Deir Al-Balah, in the central region, 13 people died, including 4 children, according to information from Al-AQSA Martyrs Hospital. In Khan Younis, in the south, another 15 people lost their lives, according to Nasser Hospital.
