Last day of the famous bull race leaves eight injured in Spain

Eight people were injured on Sunday (13) during this year’s São Firmino de Pamplona festival bull race, the emergency services of the Navarre, Spain, said.

La Palmosilla farm bulls traveled to Pamplona’s narrow streets in two minutes and 24 seconds.

Six of the injured were transferred to local hospitals, emergency services reported.

Hundreds of corridors, dressed in the traditional white costumes and red handkerchiefs, fired ahead of the powerful animals along the 875 meter course.

Thousands of tourists from around the world go to run alongside the locals over seven days, making them firmino the most famous of bull festivals that take place throughout Spain during the summer months.
